This solution enables us to manage our clients’ digital rights in a highly professional manner, for both VoD and Live applications as well as for PCs and mobile devices.
The DRM solution operated by ipercast guarantees the highest levels of criticality for the processed data; rock-solid service availability; and optimal scalability.
Our rights management platform can support extreme load increases. This makes it ideally suited to applications such as live broadcasts of major international sporting events, which can generate tens of thousands of requests in just a few seconds.

Generation of access licences for users.
DRM is based on a 3-entity model (i.e. the user, the content publisher and the DRM/delivery service provider). The intelligent processes required to grant or refuse access to a given content are ALWAYS managed on the content publisher’s side. It is therefore necessary to integrate a set of licence-generation processes within the publisher’s portal.
This configuration essentially relies on Web services.

Ipercast has been providing this service for 5 years, establishing itself as a leading expert in this field. We are in permanent exchange with other players in the DRM arena, which enables us to tailor our solutions according to our clients’ requirements and the intended distribution formats (Medialive, Widevine, Adobe, Verimatrix, etc.)
